1. Advantages of Medical Air Purifiers
Superior Filtration Capacity
HEPA H13/H14 Filters: Filters up to 99.97% to 99.995% of 0.3-micron particles (such as viruses, bacteria, and PM2.5), far exceeding the efficiency of standard household purifiers (H11/H12).
Multiple Purification Technologies: Some models feature ultraviolet (UV-C), plasma, or ozone sterilization, further inactivating microorganisms and suitable for individuals with compromised immune systems (such as infants, the elderly, and those recovering from surgery).
Efficient Removal of Harmful Gases
Medical-grade activated carbon filters or chemical catalytic technology enhance the adsorption and decomposition of decoration pollutants such as formaldehyde and TVOC.
High Air Volume & Fast Purification
Suitable for large spaces (such as living rooms and open-plan apartments), improving air quality in a short period of time.
2. Suitable for Home Use
Families with Health Needs: Those with allergies, asthma, or those with extreme air sensitivity (such as to pollen or dust mites). During flu season or epidemics, it's important to reduce the risk of viral transmission.
New decoration/highly polluted environment: Rapidly degrade decoration pollutants such as formaldehyde and benzene (especially suitable for emergency purification before moving into a new house).
Households living in industrial areas, near roads, and with severe outdoor pollution.
Households with pets: Powerfully removes pet hair, dander, odors, and even bacteria carried by pets.
3. Precautions for use of medical air purifiers
(1) Installation and placement guidelines
Location selection: Close to pollution sources (such as doors and windows, new furniture), but must be at least 30 cm away from walls/furniture to ensure air intake.
Lightning protection zone: It is strictly forbidden to place it in the bathroom (humid), kitchen (oil smoke), or next to the heater (high temperature) to prevent damage to the machine.
Height: It is preferred to place it at a height of 0.8 to 1.5 meters (such as a coffee table or low cabinet) to more effectively capture suspended pollutants.
(2) Safety protection
Electrical safety: Use a separate socket (avoid sharing with high-power appliances such as air conditioners), and turn off the power and unplug it during thunderstorms.
Special groups: Protection for infants, pregnant women, and asthma patients: Disable the ozone function, and leave the room during UV sterilization. Troubleshooting: Abnormal noise/burning smell: Immediately turn off the power and contact after-sales service to inspect the motor or circuit.
(3) Correction of common misunderstandings
Error: Continue to use the filter after drying it in the sun
HEPA filter exposed to the sun will damage the fiber structure and reduce the filtration efficiency!
Correct: Replace it according to the cycle, and replace it 30% earlier in case of heavy use.
Error: The air outlet is blowing directly at people
This may cause headaches or respiratory discomfort. The angle should be adjusted to avoid direct blowing.
